[title] Tether Soldering Attachment
[* black] The two yellow wires coming from the rear of the ROV need to be cut to attach the tether. This attachment can be made closer intoCut these two wires close to the ROV and attached as shown with a cable tie or can be done a little longer so the soldering can be done easier, and then wrapped with tape in a later step.
[* black] What is important is that no strain be put on this connection when pulling the ROV by the tether

[* black] Place the remaining 1/4" cable wrap onto the tether spool and move it down the tether so we can move it into position after soldering.
[* icon_note] You can use a heat gun to melt the ends of the wrap to prevent it from fraying.
[* black] Strip and tin the four wires for the tether(two fromtether (two from ROV and two from the tether spool). The two yellow wires for the tether should be routed to the rear of the ROV.

[* black] Place two sections of clear heat shrink tubing down onto the tether wires, and then solder them to the yellow ROV wires.
[* icon_reminder] Be sure to place your cable wrap and tubing onto the tether before soldering!!
