Using IMU-Depth module with arduino (mayfly data-logger)

I am writing on behalf of a non-profit that is working in water quality. we are trying to develop and deploy some inexpensive depth sensors that could be used in rain barrels streams or even in storm drains.

Originally I had written functional code for use with a sonar sensor, but the IMU-depth module seemed better.

My questions are:

1) Does anyone have sample code of the module being used with arduino or can anyone point me in the right direction in regards to a library I could use.

2) Does the module take 3v? I believe the mayfly board outputs 3.3v will this be okay?

I would also appreciate some pictures if anyone has done anything similar
