confused by the battery hookup and capactors
i'm a bit confused by the orange and green battery leads. What is supposed to connect to the -ve end of the capacitor?

Hello,
If you are talking about the polyfuse then it does not matter which lead you connect the wire to and which side the terminal is connected to.

thanks, but it is the OTHER end of the capacitor I'm talking about.
I am a little confused about what you are talking about. The only capacitors that are on the ROV are in the electronics housing. Can you attach a picture of what you are talking about or open a support ticket with us? https://openrov.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/req...
yes that's the one. I fixed it but what I was confused about was the lead from the capacitor that goes thru the hole in the housing. I thought that was a wire not the capacitor.
