Can´t connect with the ROV

I tried to connect with the ROV for the first time, but I could not reach it. I set my computer with settings in the following guide:

OpenROV Operators Manual

I was using Chrome and i can´t connect ROV to my laptop, as it says “Page cannot be found”

I tried to ping 192.168.254.1 but that didn’t work and the following message showed up: “Replay from 192.168.254.2: Destination host unreachable.

I tried to use putty (windows), and I can’t establish a SSH session with the ROV.

When ROV is turned on, the LEDs on topside of communication box have the following behaviours:

POWER: On

HomePlug Connect: blink

Ethernet Connector: On

In the Beaglebone Ethernet port the lights green/amber are on.

The blue LEDs USR0…USR3 blinking

In the controller board the LEDs have the following behaviours:

HPWR LED6 Green

HP LED7 Amber

ETH LED6 Amber

PWR LED1 Green

BTX LED4 Amber (blink)

Can you provide-me some guideline on this issue?

Thanks in advance for the help

Why do you have a question and answer index with out having technical support connected to it. Now the info has to be relayed again. It just shows that you are all sales not technical. There shouldn't be this much difficulty connecting in the first place. As they say on Shark Tank "for that reason I am out"

We appreciate your concern about how we handle support. The reason we have a question and answer section on here is for questions related specifically to the directions and the build process. In order to provide the best support possible to each individual's unique situation we sometimes have to move the conversation to direct email contact if these require personal information (order numbers, phone numbers, mailing addresses, etc.) and this is not information that people want online for anyone to see. We stand behind every one of the ROV kits that we sell and support the customer through the build and operation. -Brian G.
